Nice. You got me inspired to do the same maneuvers with another airplane 8)

Thanks to the reverse, I stopped halfway to the end of the runway. That airplane has real good STOL capabilities

Nice shots Dom,

I would say you nailed that landing and I read afterwords that you practiced a bit, nevertheless stunning views. That must be ORBX Pago Pago scenery, that's why it looks so live. Thanks for sharing.

Nice screenshots and good job on the landing Dominique! 600m is pretty short for the Mustang. I'll definetly will have to give that a try.

And good job squeezing the guppy in the Aymi. But I think you might have chopped some trees there

Thanks for sharing guys

Thank you guys, appreciate your comments. I see that I accomplished my goal to give you nasty ideas :). I like that kind of challenge for there's not much room for sloppiness. You have to do everything right to stay alive. It ain't Edwards main runway, right ? Nailing the landing is not a question of technical airmanship only however but it also is vey mental. You need to be concentrated and relaxed at the same time. Zen...

Nice stunt Aymi. You'd better stay dead in the center lest hitting trees with a wing, I suppose... I wouldn't have thought possible to take off with the 377, I suppose you were empty with a light fuel load ? If not, there might be something to do here, using the Guppy in the fresh coconut trade

Yes you sure gave us some nasty ideas. The shortest I've gone so far is 2800ft/850m which was not that hard. I think I'll have to try 600m next. Of course the water in front and behind the runway puts additional psychological pressure on you.

What I've also learnt here is, don't ever push your luck. If you're too fast or touch too far from threshold, go around ! The scenery is beautiful anyway.
