The polished fuselage looks a bit "white", the real one is looking like the Swamp Fox version.

I added the German registration and the weathered version now has the WWII marking as well as the German registration

that is the HDR effect, without it, this is how 3 different versions reflect the light at 8 AM.

my first fictional P-51D - this one is based on a T-33 Thunderbirds, there was a P-51D painted in the colors as well - I had to improvise a bit to make it fit the model.

No. Thunderbirds never used P-51's. The team was formed in the 50s'....well into the Jet age

Thanks for the information guys. I figured the Thunderbirds never used the Mustang but I wasn't sure. Anyways the paintjob looks great on the Mustang!
