cdfi's site down? or gone?

Post by Alan_A »

Just went looking for cdfi's site so I could point a new civ Mustang owner to his repaints. All I get back are bad URLs and broken image links. Is his site gone? Hope it's just a temporary glitch - those were some of the best paints out there. If you know anything, please post. Thanks!

Seems to be gone, I've been trying to get there for some time now as well. I'm not even sure if he still visits this site anymore.

Oh no. That's a shame. Those repaints are so awesome.

I'll try sending him a PM and see what happens. I think I've got most of them - a good selection at least - and it'd be nice to be able to post them somewhere or at least distribute them privately. But I wouldn't want to do any of that without permission. If we can't repost or share, then it's a big loss. I missed out on most of Nath's paints when he took his site down, and having cdfi disappear on top of that is tough to take.

EDIT: And it looks like there's no PM option, either on his profile or on his posts. Guess he's gone. A shame. I'll have a look at the readme files later on, and see what the restrictions are on distribution.

Google decided to halt web hosting support on Google Drive after 8/31/2016. So cdfi's site, which was on Google Drive, is gone.
The files and images are still accessible individually on Google Drive, so it's possible to make them available again.

Ok folks, I've moved to another web host.
The website link is now at: seediffy's flight sim graphics
(Note: The download button at the bottom of the webpage may be slow to react but it should pop up after a few seconds of delay.)

cheers,
cdfi

That's awesome! Thanks for putting the paints back online!

One more question. Do you think you will release "Daddy's Girl"? The Mustang looks awesome with that green nose.

Thanks again.

Thanks you CDFI, those are so awesome, I love how you get that high reflective shine on the civ versions.

Do you plan on doing any more?

Awesome. Please let me know if you are taking requests. I have 3 high polished civ variants I would very much like to have.
