Old news?

Post by ratty »

I have over a thousand hours in the Mustang, but this morning I noticed for the first time that the artificial horizon/attitude indicator erects when you turn on the master switch. It also seems to "re-erect" when you start the engine. In all the aircraft I'm familiar with, the turn coordinator is electric and the AI and the direction indicator are vacuum driven. Is this one both? Or have I spotted something that has gone unreported for six years?
