Yoann,

If you push all the way on the right rudder will the P51 go to the right?

Rudder trim is only good after take off and power reduction. During the takeoff roll it does not provide much help.

Can you control the direction of the plane? Can you make the plane go to the right side of the runway during take off?

I may have misread what you mean, but if you have two controllers assigned to the same axis (both the twist on your stick AND a set of seperate rudder pedals) they may conflict and actually end up giving you zero rudder. Try unassigning one or the other if you have two controllers assigned to the same axis.

Hello,

have you updated to the latest core update yet? If you own the C172 and have not updated you will be in for issues such as those you have mentioned.

thanks,

Sorry that didn't help Yoann.

Do you have a joystick with a twist grip AND a seperate set of rudder pedals?

Simple mistake i often do is forget the control lock. This will always put me in the grass to the left.
Check you can move the control stick and rudder pedals in the cockpit.

Yoann,

please don't get me wrong, but as you wrote you set your sliders to hard now, I need to ask: Do you know how an aircraft flies and how a propeller engine works? It sounds to me that you expect the trim do the job for you to run straight on the runway?

An Aircraft experiences many different and complexe forces on its way from engine start to shut down.

If you've always flown on easy realism setting I'm pretty sure, the P51 will be a lot too much to learn for now.

If you're really flying on real settings for the first time I highly recommend you to train o airplanes that are easier to manage and fly. If you own the A2A 172 you will want to use this plane to learn to fly, if not just use any freeware addons or the default FSX airplanes on hard settings. They don't behave very real at all but you will experience the torque of the propeller and will learn how to manage it. The torsion of your joystick is just fine for this.

If I'm wrong and you actually KNOW how to fly an airplane, just forget what I wrote :D

But If I'm right, rather slow down your learning process than despair of the P51 and have fun :D It's a really hard to fly airplane.

Greets,
Marc
