Quickie question....

How do you load a different skin onto the P51? And where can you get them from???

Hello,

Normally all the instructions are with the repaint. Check out the finish paints thread for a bunch of repaints and also links to the various Flight simulator community sites where more can be found.

For installation just follow the read me with the repaint. Any issues give us a yell on here.

Evening chaps

Still don't get this repaint malarky at all

the A2A P51D comes with 3 skins but when I open FSX 10, only one P51D shows up in the list of available aircraft

It loads up the Kwitchbitchin' skin

I can't load up either of the other aircraft supplied as alternative paint schemes by A2A, or any other skins I've downloaded

So how do you load up the other 2 skins supplied with the software........just for starters!??

And can anyone help me with a file for the Joystick mapping utility? I

Hello Matt,

on the aircraft selection screen make sure that 'show all variations' is ticked. And on the joystick mapping, what info would you like?

That was easy enough! How did I miss that?

Yes, the mapping utility. I'm using a 10 button joystick with a throttle control. It's very clumsy for setting things like the rudder trim. I could do with trying out a couple of mapping files to see what is most suitable. I use the keyboard for the gear, flaps and prop RPM. These seem to be default settings that I more or less found by accident.

Is there some info on how the keyboard is set up to control things by default?

FSX has a default setting regarding keys.
I use a paid version of FSUIPC.
And A2A also gave you the P51 Input Configurator tool.
