Thank your for your nice planes. I really enjoy them.
I have some starter motor related question.
In P-51 Accu-Sim manual page 37, It says the electric starter motor will automatically disengages and the engine runs free, once after the engine reaches a certain speed.
But, I found the starter motor still runs even after landing and cut off the engine.
Electric starter motor does not disengage automatically

I updated to the latest version dated 1/24/2015. And, I checked it again.
But, the result was the same.

Re: Electric starter motor does not disengage automatically
Seo_se_young,
The starter motor does disengage, but you are seeing the "button" staying in, not the starter motor. The button in the real plane is a spring loaded one, that you need to hold in to crank. We altered this behavior to allow you to free up your mouse in the sim.
So, the behavior you are seeing is correct assuming your finger is holding that button down. The engine winds up and the actual starter motor disengages (if it didn't, you would hear a heck of a grinding noise as the starter motor gear turns to dust ).
The button should disengage after the engine starts, but if it doesn't, just press the starter button again.
Scott.

Thank you for your kind explanation. Now, I understand it.
