Here are some pictures of some funny text i have been experiencing in all my A2A aircraft. The text is slightly distorted but still readable (just really annoying to read)

In addition to this text issue my P-51 pilot is "stuck" looking at the same point his head never moving and when i try to select "No Pilot" the text illuminates yet the pilot remains?

Beautiful planes A2A and its a testament to your planes that i still fly these despite this little niggles.

Any help appreciated.

Hello,

Animations;
Please make sure your settings are as stated in the manual. In this case, it sounds like advanced animations is turned off.

Re: Fonts
If you are running a non default resolution or DPI the text will appear as you describe.

thanks,
Lewis

Hello,

thats ok then, if you have never changed it then it wont be this. You will want to check your dekstop settings though, make sure FSX is running at same desktop resolution as your PC, check large fonts etc are not enabled.

(right click desktop >> properties. to get to the settings)

thanks,
Lewis

Ok, thanks, i'll try again tonight when im on my computer again, will let you know how it goes. In FSX there is the resolution i.e 1080x1090 but then theres a third x, i.e 1080x1090x16. Does the 16 represent 16 bit? As in High colour and True colour?

Yes, you will want that on 32 (unless you are running a really old system/monitor setup).

Ok, all text under Display is smaller 100%, none of the other text is anything larger than smaller.

Could i be missing a font supplied for the planes?

Hello,

your images are too small to read. Can I please rerquest you use an image hosting site such as photobucket to post full size images. We are wondering if the fonts on your system are somehow customised.

The standard 2d panels use the Courier font which is a standard Windows font.

thanks,
Lewis

Hello,

We cannot tell what is wrong in the screenies, as they are too small and degraded with compression. Can you post an image at full size and tell us exactly what the issue is. From the last screenshots you posted all looks ok.

The photos i have posted now are exactley what they look like in game. The text is distorted and un-readable. What do you recommend i do to get better quality photos?

This happens to all of my A2A planes so it must be a universal problem

When I used the Enbseries bloom effect mod in fsx, the gui in a2a aircraft became blurred. When I uninstalled the mod, the distortion was gone. It could be that you are using that, but of course, it's only a guess. :) It looked kinda like in that screenshot.
