Not sure where the problem lies; but my Military P-51D Gear Handle does the same thing as my T-6 Gear Handle is doing. Both airplanes when initialized in P3D V4.3 come up with the Gear Handles in the "Up" position. If you don't catch it in time the gear will collapse when you taxi. I did post another post under the T-6 Tech Support about this issue months ago; but got no real resolution then.
I am using: Win 10 OS, P3d V4.3, and my Landing Gear Controls are Precision Flight Controls. I have also noticed when I raise my gear handle, I also have to depress the "G" key on my keyboard to get the gear to come up. Everything works fine when placing my Gear Handle in the down position. I do not use FSUIPC.
Keep the shiny side up and the dirty side down!

I'll check it out right now. Are you flying Civilian or Military 51'?
Edit: I have no issues on my end with manually retracting or extending the gear with the gear handle.

My Texan and Mustang gear handles are okay. The only controls weirdness I've had is with the Spitfire's mixture being reversed on my X52.

Re: P-51D Gear Handle P3D V4.3
I had the gear handle issue with the P-51 in FSX, that came down to an error in the LINDA actions file. Try to disable any other ad ons you are using, like LINDA, FSUIPC etc.

Re: P-51D Gear Handle P3D V4.3
Indeed it is, but it shouldn't matter to my controller. Moving the X52 to rich sets it to Weak in the sim, and leaning sets it to Rich. I'm used to it now, but took me a while to figure out what was happening.Tomas Linnet wrote:The Spitfire mixture is reversed compared to a P-51
