Hello,
I just purchased the p51 civ for prepar3d v4 and have some problems: Before starting the engines, the axis assignment are ok, but after starting the engine the Aircraft is behaving like mad, aileron, Elevator and rudder are not working correctly. With A2A Piper 250, Piper 180 and C172 and every other planes there are no problems, only with p51civ. Axis assignment is partly done by FSUIPC, but no double assignment in prepar3d v4 and FSUIPC. Sticks are: Goflight 737 yoke, TQ6, CH pedals.
Any hints?
Best regards

Re: Axis assignment
Hi phecht,
Please can you give it a try with FSUIPC disabled. Basically just place the FSUIPC5.dll in a temporary folder and then open the sim and use the basic P3D controls menu to assign your essential axes. If the problem persists, at least we know FSUIPC isn't the culprit. However, if the issue disappears, we've identified a potential issue with the way FSUIPC is configured as the cause.
Thanks,
Nick

Re: Axis assignment
Hello,
can you tell us a little more about your particular system and setup
Because this hasn't come up before, it will be something specific to your hardware/software system setup so the more information the better to help troubleshoot. Ideally you will be wanting to start from as much a default position as possible.
thanks,
Lewis

Re: Axis assignment
Nearly a week is gone and not really hint for a solution. I delete the P51 now, surely this will be my last purchase from A2A.

Re: Axis assignment
Hello Phecht,
We've been responding to your posts and trying to help, but you haven't given us much info about the exact problem you're encountering. When you say "the aircraft is behaving like mad, aileron, elevator and rudder are not working correctly" please can you try to describe the behaviour you're seeing in a bit more detail?
In general terms, I'd suggest:
1. You make sure that your default scenario in P3Dv4 uses a default aircraft.
2. Check for control conflicts in the P3D controls settings, FSUIPC, and in the A2A P-51 Civilian Input Configurator.
3. Delete the "Documents\A2A\FSX\P51civ" directory.
4. Try reinstalling the P-51 Civilian. If you installed your other P3Dv4 products using the old installers, this may help to overwrite any existing files.
Thanks,
Nick
