Dear all,
I've been trying to seek help for weeks now. C172 shows all kind of lights, like Oil Pressure etc. Engine is not starting at all. Grounded for the last 2 weeks.

You did get an answer in the other thread you started Waseem. Did you see Piper_EEWL's suggestion about installing the SimConnect client?wkhokhar wrote:I've been trying to seek help for weeks now.
However, if you crashed while landing as mentioned, it may be as simple as a "complete overhaul" in the maintenance hangar (shift 7).
Also, posts in the "Repainters" forum can tend to get missed. You'd be better off posting in the C172 tech support forum.

Yes as Nick says. Have you installed the simconnect as described in the other thread? Also did you read the manual as suggested?

Dear all,
Thank you for your suggestions. However, even the 'Complete Overhaul' didn't work. My cockpit is showing OIL PRESS L VAC R VOLTS. OIL PRESS and VOLTS are in red color. L VAC R are blinking in White.
Please advise.

It sounds like a simcomnect problem to me too. Look in this directory, and make sure you run it as admin when installing.
P3DV2 sometimes wont install the required simconnect files. No worries though as they are provided by Lockheed in the following directory;
\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2\redist\Interface\FSX-SP2-XPACK\retail\lib

Yes as I've said in the other thread. I also think it's a simconnect issue. See my reply here:
Oh btw. When you say that OIL PRESS etc are illuminated. Are you talking about the indicator panel? Do the warnings show up only when the battery is on but the engine is not running or do they all turn off once the engine is running? Because if so it's perfectly normal!
Go to the link and read the FAQ. Scott explains on how to fix it.This sounds like a simconnect problem. Read the FAQ here:
http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtop ... 08&t=35640
This sometimes happens with P3D.
But also read the manual. It's very informative.

I'm wondering if the issue is as simple as ...

Not for this one musicalaviator, the lights etc and overhaul not working point to simconnect not being installed, or being in a state of corruption.
thanks,
Lewis

Thanks guys,
Things were getting too complicated for me and we had been grounded for weeks. I had to reinstall the Aircraft. It works fine now.
Cheers

Did you also run the latest updater after the reinstall? For the update to install correctly after a reinstall you have to delete the update folder manual first.
Go to your simulators root folder
---/A2A/C172/update...
And delete the update folder. Then reinstall the update.
