faded, thin paint, well worn?

Post by c_prowse »

I have one faded yellow brown stripe dirty 182 someone did complete with dirty interior I use in the back country. I'd like to find a few more. Of the maybe 100 repaints on Avsim and through the links here all are hangar princesses looking near new or new and of those maybe 10 links are actually valid. I have a 172 with a shop book on the floor and some duct tape holding the carpet together lol. Not all aircraft are hangar queens. Post if you have or know of anything well worn.

Maybe something of your liking can be found there?

That was one list I went through and was talking about. Half of the links are no good, mostly ones hosted on drop box are expired. Most are very nice, I've got the one yellow dirty one and two from Maloney I just found through the forums. The freeware list shows Maloney also but unless you open it you have no idea they are worn repaints. Nothing in the description. I guess most of these are pavement princesses anyway. Be great to have a good 185 on tundra tires, Carenado version is very outdated. Alaska modded Super Cub be good too. There is life beyond runways:)
