172 repaint request

Post by OneThreeEcho »

Hi all,

I tried to do this myself but I am woefully incompetent with image editing software.

I'd like to simply have a different tail number put on pretty much any texture. I like the default N7274H and the F-GOAP but I do not like the N990CP. Pretty much any texture would be fine if maybe someone has one they made that would be really easy to swap out tail numbers. I'd be happy to reasonably compensate one of you for your efforts. The tail number I'd like painted is N5413E.

Let me know if anyone is willing to do this for me and thanks in advance!

Hi Rob,

As one of the active repainters, may I suggest that you select a paint scheme that you like from the many that are available, or one that you have seen that you really like in real life or photos. There is a section under each aircraft type for REPAINTS. For the A2A Cessna 172 it is here: http://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtop ... 07&t=35802. There are currently 26 pages of repaints and comments about repainting. If you like a particular repaint that is available, simply PM the artist that created that repaint and ask if they will place your requested N5413E tail number on her. Not all of the photos of completed repaints are displayed any longer, many artists have moved their photos to other locations and you may have to go off-forum to see them. However, almost every paint scheme that Cessna made, is represented here as well as many, many custom paints. Personally, I will not alter someone else's artwork out of respect for their work. However, I have and will alter any of my own work to customize it for a requester. And, as far as learning how to do your own painting, there is plenty of assistance here on the forum and on YouTube on that subject. We would be glad to assist you with any questions and would openly welcome you to the group that does repainting.

Here's a re-paint of the default N7274H as N5413E. Perhaps someone else will re-paint F-GOAP for you.

You can get 7-Zip to uncompress from here. https://www.7-zip.org/

Steve.

Edit:
What the heck. It's just a reg. change. Here it is using the F-GOAP livery. Just swap the dds file.
