As I posted in the other patch thread, handling seems better in cruise, too - a little less stable, more subject to gusts and turbulence. Am I imagining that, or is the prop drag revision having an effect when under takeoff/cruise power, too?

Hey Zorg. Wyreema is in OZx Freeware. We have a new release due Sunday but Wyreema is in the current release. It's quite hard to see but it's on the NE edge of the town, near a T-junction of HT towers.

I already have OZx 2.2, and I actually couldn't find it on my last flight which was in inclement weather. Thanks for the directions.

Hey what environment or weather program was used in that video?

Thanks for the tip on this - tough field to get into and out of. Though I found I did a little better once I realized where the runway was. I'd been landing on the ploughed field behind the airport. Good soft field practice but not exactly where I wanted to be...

Finally found Wyreema. :) What a nice little strip. I have saved my stock yellow Cub there, and I will start a journey from there and travel towards the coast and up north on a quest to explore more of Queensland.

I really enjoy the different variants of the Cub. I've spend most of my flying time in the tundra with the blue dirty tundra repaint (thanks a lot to the auther, it's great), and now it's nice to return to the standard yellow Cub, which really is the essence of the Cub.

Again, the new landing performance is great - Also with the stock Cub.

It's great fun and exciting to take the Cub up in really bad weather with lots of wind, but it sure is nice, peaceful and almost meditating to soar around in low cruise speed in calm warm sunny weather (using REX 2's amazing HD couds). Just relax, let the plane do it's job and explorer the scenery and watch other GA planes buzz by. My last trip to Wyreema was such a one.

That hotfix is definitely great. I was already beginning to feel stupid because I could never manage to bring the Cub in as steep and short as I've seen in countless real life videos. But now even I can do it. ;)

I found another Field lat S28* 03.27 E1518 55.89
I spotted it by the huge building from about 5 miles out. It is about 3/4 the way from YTWB to YWCK, I have made a AFX file for it, if anyone wants it , I could email it. I believe that there must be quite a few of these small fields not listed so be on the lookout.

That's Allora. Doesn't need an AFX/ADE/Afcad. There's directions to it in the OZx documentation and a Google Earth placemark kml included in the OZx Maps folder for preflight planning. The building represents what looks like a mansion from the GE photo.
Nearby there's Pittsworth, Wyreema, Hutchie's Field, Clifton, Allora Farm, Elbow Valley, Cherry Gully, Millmerran, Millmerran Farm and Leyburn (OZx) + Toowoomba, Warwick, Oakey, Stanthorpe, etc (FSX default).

If I buy and download the A2A Simulations Piper Cub with the Piper Cub Accu-Sim Expansion Pack tomorrow, would I still need to install the A2A Piper Cub v.1.1 Patch + v.1.11 Hot Fix Released - or are these already included in the actual product download?

Nevermind, got it all sorted, installed and running okay.

12/29: And, what an amazing plane to fly with the Accu-sim.

"- Misc improvements and fixes to Heidi's intelligence."

Is there any way this can be adjusted further so that I can apply it to my girlfriend...?

I'm going to show this to your girlfriend unless you place 50K in small denominations in a rucksack and leave it under the park bench... Tell No One or you're done for... SSSSssssh! 8)
