Thank's tigerclaw. I want to get the FTX Pacific Northwest, Fjords and Northern Rockies. I found the repaint, one battered B-17!

Thanks Snuffy. :D
«The Hunting Club» is one my liveries, and she is available from the AVSIM Library.
The real aircraft with serial 42-5432 was a B-17F. She crashed at Furstenberg by Deuten, Germany, on 22 June 1943 after being hit by flak.

Well, we have no B-17F available for FSX yet (hint, hint... ), so I adapted the textures to the excellent Accu-Sim B-17G

Thanks Ben!

These liveries are available from the AVSIM File Library. Search for «Fortress» in the Flight Simulator X - Aircraft Repaints, Textures and Modifications category.
A small modification will be done to the tail art of «The Hunting Club». Donald Duck is a fragment of a cartoon series were he actually says «Food huntin'» and not «Good huntin'»
This will be corrected.

Tanks for info badbob83! :D

When I started to paint the Hunting Club, i knew very little about the aircraft. It was difficult to find information about it, and even more difficult to find photos.
But, all in all, I learned a lot. Here's a link to a topic at the armyairforces forum. This is a discussion about the faith of the Hunting Club. Your uncle is here listed as KIA.
http://forum.armyairforces.com/m121138-print.aspx

It's always interesting reading the stories of the different B-17s. When I started the painting, I knew that the Hunting Club was a B-17F model.
So, I really hope that we once will see an A2A Accu-Sim B-17F (Hint, hint....) :D
If so, the Hunting Club will be the first to be painted for that model.

The link to the 303rd BG site by Gary Moncu has been bookmarked - thanks!

Thanks Gunnar, I found her. Hunting Club has become my main 17 paint to use. Everything I was looking for. That Beat up 1943 F model look. The heavy airbrushed line between the olive drab and the white underbelly is also a selling point.

Thanks Bobby! If we once will have a B-17F model, the textures will be transfered. In that case I will need more info/pictures of the real Hunting Club. At the moment, I have very sparse reference material.

Thanks Ben - glad you're enjoying the livery :D
