Yes. The bubble canopy was the summit of engineering on teh P-74, it could dive faster, more aerodynamic, and had 100% better pilot visibility. This should be added!!!
I completely agree. The biggest disappointment of A2A is the eccentric choice of aircraft. They all get modelled to such a high standard, even the AF range that it is a crying shame that early and obscure aircraft are released. I finally relented and bought the Jug although the razorback version is ugly as sin, like the early spit and P-40. On that note I also don't understand how the early spit can be the Accusim testbed for the P-51D, given the disparity in the development of the respective Merlin versions. I would have thought the aesthetically more pleasing Mk IX and higher variants would have sold better as well as been closer to the P-51D development. Anyway, thats my rant, and at the end of the day it's Scott's company, so he can build whichever models he want's irrespective of customer popularity.
I will however add to the growing groundswell of this thread and petition for the release of a patch to a bubble canopy version. Hell, I'd even be prepared to pay for it!
