Just finished reading, thanks for posting. The air conditioning system looks interesting and I can't wait to hear the natural speech system in action.

The devil inside me wants to take the aircraft up to 20,000ft and dump the air preassure to hear the passangers scream, mwu ha ha ha 8)

Nice!

If we load an FS flight plan, will the navigator give turn/course correction orders?

Best regards,
Robin.

Just went over the manual, and I'm more exited then ever for the release.

However, there is something that has always bothered me about A2A's manuals, and this one is no exception. I'm just going to throw this out there this one time and not mention it again, since I'm sure everyone else will think I'm crazy. :P Just keep in mind that I'm a graphic designer and a typographer, so it is my job to obsess about details like this. :)

As far a content goes, the manuals are great! But as for layout, they look pretty bad. They look like they were thrown together in MS Word, frankly. Typographically there are a lot of little things I could nit-pick, but by far the biggest problem (and one of the easiest to fix) is the incredibly long line lengths. Especially on a landscape oriented page, paragraphs of type should never be stretching across the entire width of the page. Not only does it look terrible, but hurts readability as well. Fitting the type into a two or three column grid would go a LONG way in making the manuals more readable and professional looking.

Anyway, sorry for nerding out on everyone! :) I know we now live in the internet age, and everyone is so used to badly formatted web pages that we don't even notice bad typography anymore. Still, I had to throw that out there. I hope that didn't come across too negative, as it was meant in the spirit of constructive criticism. If I may end with a shameless plug, I do freelance work and will accept planes as payment.

Hi!

I just read the posted manual. Sounds reeeeally nice, thats gonna be a blast! But I got a few questions: Is it possible to get a random load of passengers? Also - is it possible to enter a certain amount of flight time, out of which the crew knows, how many supplies they have to get on board? Something like "Captain, here is your flight plan, passenger-weight and -number, flight time etc. Have a nice flight". That would be great.

Thank you,

Regards,

Chris

You realize that with these suggestions we are delaying the release?

Best regards,
Robin.

Few addons have been a must have for me at the time of release. The B377 was one of them and now with this expansion you've done it again. I can't WAIT!!!! When, where, how much??? Sign me up!

I'd still love to know if the turbos can now be controlled by those not running Acceleration? I use SP2, and have the little patch to make it work, but the turbos can't be manually controlled. Will this expansion fix that, in-line with your other products? Or can the intelligent engineer control them, but I can't, as it presently works?

Either way, looks great!

Funny I like the way A2A do their manuals. They are intelligently written and nicely laid out. If the font size was smaller you might have a point, but I think it's fine the way it is.

Remember, everybody is entitled to my opinion :D

LOL I think this great release will affirm to me why I wanted to fly freight instead of passengers when I was exploring a proffessional career in aviation

It looks awesome :)

typhonus,

Yes, the new system treats SP2 and Acceleration the same so yes, SP2 has full turbo control.

Sounds awesome!

Will there be a combo offer for the whole shabang or could I buy the Stratorcruiser and the Accu-sim package now without missing out?

Thanks, Scott! You guys honestly rock. Beyond being a great game design group, you just set a standard for all-around customer service and quality. I can't wait to shell out some money for this. It sounds amazing.

This looks great but might be priced out of my budget. Will there be three units to buy, plane plus accusim plus captian? If so this could be expensive for us average users.
