Greetings All,
For those interested, DigitalThemePark has recently started another set of scenic flights. We are doing a loop around the PNW area using A2A and GA aircraft. Our first flight meandered from KSHN to S18. Our second flight (yesterday) was S18 to W28. No GPS / Real time / Real weather for the area. Most of us flew A2A Piper Cubs, some in the A2A Spitfire. Wow, what an aircraft that Spitfire is. Fun to have two of them in formation roar past us in the Piper Cubs. We are typically flying twice a week. Leg 3 fly-in 9/1(Thur) 2100Z, 2p PDT/5p EDT
Here is our first 2 legs and next segment detail.
Leg 3 Route:
W28->2WA3->KORS->38WA->38W (95.1nm)
Leg 2 Route:
S18->11S->KNOW->W28 (Completed: 108.7nm)
Leg 1 Route:
KSHN->S18 (Completed: 78.4nm)
Note: These count towards our "Pacific NW GA "bearpaw" Award"
For more details, connect your TeamSpeak to
ts3.digitalthemepark.com and someone will be there to introduce you as a DTP citizen. We are gathering in the AoA Events channel (DigitalThemePark is the official AoA VoIP location for ground schools, Flight Training, VATSIM & GA Fly-ins). In TeamSpeak, on the channel details screen(that panel on the right), you will find more details of the route(s) and points of interest. I would suggest getting connected before our flights in order to make sure your headset fully works before the actual flight. We like to be prompt and not waste avgas idling on the airfield.

btw: Feel free to connect anytime. Several informal flights go on as well, as well as VATSIM flights, Grounds Schools, Training, etc. If you are a flight group in need of TeamSpeak services, we can accommodate as well.
