So I took out the P-47 for the first time in awhile, and decided to hop around Orbx PNW airports, KORS-74S-1S2-KCMW, but as I approached 74S, I passed through a cloud (ssshhh! I was flying 'IFR' ) and when I came out, I noticed there wasn't a propellor spinning anymore, and I had a mid-air prop strike. My airspeed was dropping fast, and I was at 3,000ft and had no room for error, I pulled up the gear, flaps, closed cowl flaps, preparing myself for a LOT-style belyl landing, the flaps wouldn't retract, all I heard was escaping air pressure, but the gear did go up in time, did too teh cowl flaps. So, I landed gear-up, flaps down, on the runway, and skidded short of the VASI's, and that kinda ruined the fun of the flight...anybody experienced this before?

My grandfather used to say something along the lines of "I don't fly because I don't know who left a brick in a cloud for me."

Was your prop bent backwards when you came out of the cloud, or simply not running?

Yep, sounds like a cumulus granite cloud.

As seen the the screenshots, the propellor was in the crumpled up state prior to belly landing

I have experienced a similar event, to this with other airport scenery software from ORBX. My CEN4 and KORS airport has invisible/cumulo-granite taxiways. Only in certain spots.

DHR, turn off FSX crashes. As you have experienced, FSX crashes produces unexpected results. You dont need FSX to tell you when you have crashed. A bent prop would be proof enough of that.

Is turning fsx crashes off only affecting this pause message and restart, or wouldn't i be able to for example bend my gear on hard landing ? wouldn't i bounce away from the ground?
