Cody, I do love that "Epic Of Flight" series. A few years ago I met a B-17 senior pilot, James "Paladin" Fore, at a local airshow and was happy to buy his book "Tragedy and Triumph", co-written by Larry Jacks. Great book and fast read. He is mentioned in the "Epic of Flight" Mercs book. He flew for Air America in Nam before the stuff hit the fan, sharing an airfield with the Soviet air force. He was also an Allied bomber pilot who was sent to a Nazi concentration camp, which I guess is something that never officially happened.

I´m reading right now "A Question of Honour - The Kosciuszko Squadron" by Lynne Olson and Stanley Cloud.
Pretty nice Book which told you not only about the Polish Engagement in the Battle of Britain (and their personal accounts) but also
a lot about the Polish History itself. Its really great to learn things about a Country which was nearly 3-4 Times whiped
off of the face of the earth (but defeated the Red Army in 1921!).
Today i have a new perspective on Poland and appreciate my Polish Name (Marek) better!

Just done with Dan Simmons The Terror, and pretty much done with "Longitude" (illustrated edition) by Dava Sobel. The story of John Harrison and his clocks.... I also have the DVD. It's sad that this guy is so little known. By the same author I've started reading "Galileo's Daughter".

"Football for Dummies" by Howie Long. Seriously. It's a good book.

I'm reading "The Man Who Flew the Memphis Belle" currently. I got a copy of it for Christmas yesterday. So far it has been an excellent read.

Just finished A Game of Thrones, about to start A Clash of Kings. I have to say A Game of Thrones was mind blowing even after watching the HBO series. They did a very good job with the series follows the book extremely well. I also just picked up the Skyrim guide so been reading that too :D

As I've gotten a kindle over the holidays, I treated myself to Dune and A Game of Thrones. I heard both are really good. I also just finished Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy. I've got a lot of e books to read through, those long distance B-17 flights will come in handy ^_^

Hey Arc! Welcome to the forums. I've got When Thunder Rolled by Ed Rasimus. It's a great book. I didn't know he wrote any others. I'll have to check them out.

What I've REALLY just finished reading is 6000 odd pages of P-40 manuals, maitenance notes, electrical schematics, general assemblies and other engneering drawings.

Ok, yes, now I'm just being a tease... :P
