The A2A Simulations Community

So the stragnest thing happened to me today... After about a week of no sim time I finally got a chance to start a new flight and upon doing so none of the Accusim windows will show up! I know they're still there because everytime I try to open the checklist or loading manager or hangar I see the blip of the FSX stand-in texture but then there's nothing.

This actually started on my Spitfire, but I'll get to why my thread is here in a moment. You see my first thought was to reload the aircraft, no joy. How about deleting the DAT files in My Documents? Nope... Then I figured maybe a restart of FSX would do it, still no joy. After that I tried the Strat and the B-17 and they all have the same issue! I can't tell if the opacity has just been bumped to zero somehow or if the menus are really gone.

All I can think of that I've changed recently is a couple skins I've added for the Spit and B-17.

This is going to sound dumb, but have you verified that Caps Lock is off? I assume you have re-booted and ruled out those kinds of things? What about pop up windows in Non A2A aircraft?

Obviously if you screwed up the aircraft config file when you added in the skins, then that could definitely cause this to happen. Go back to your original config file and if it works, then you will know. It's probably an extraneous comment delimiter. If so, then add in your repaint blocks more carefully next time.

Definitely no caps lock, and of the three the Strat was not messed with at all, no new skins since the last flight, nothing, yet it was as broken as the other two...

EDIT: Solved, it was a service pack issue.

my accusim windows do not open up pn the two accusim plane that I purchased the piper nad boing 377 i know they are there but they do not stay on. I have not added any skins they only thing is I have the Fx Booster and no ther aircraft.
