Hey guys and girls,

Just a minor thing I have come across since the 1.2 update, the cartridge starter on the Mk2 Spitfire seam to stay on all the time now instead of press an release, I only found this after I ejected the cartridge and it fired another cartridge this also happens with adding more cartridges to the aircraft too.

Plus I have also lost my hours on the aircraft.... :(

This can happen if the starter didn't give enough kick for the engine to start rolling more, the button won't pop away, so when you click on the cartrige reloader, it will instantly ignite next cartridge, you must check if it pops up before reloading the cartridge. 8)

In the real spit the starter button is a click and hold button (for what i know it was in mkI, not sure about mkII), i read it will be changed in the next update.

Curious, if the pressed starter button would really ignite a reloaded cartridge, or one would need to depress it and press once more.

Yes it will light off if you keep pulling the reload ring. I sometimes have a bad habit of clicking things, and sliding the mouse off before I release. So I ran in to this before because of that. I forgot I didn't unpress the button, closed the cover, and then did my usual "ritual" of reloading the cartridge after I had taken off. Boy was that scary when I heard the bang. Then confused I pulled the ring again, and got the same result then I put 2 and 2 together.. By then though I had no more cartridges to start my motor in case I needed to in flight. Ah well. I learned from that lesson.
