Working on a full winter camouflaged Soviet P-40. Almost as plain as it can get! Got some work to do on the guns and pitot tube and hopefully find some real pictures of winterized planes to add some little details.

Nice.
I'll be looking forward to this. Its not everyday you see a white warbird.

Re: Soviet winter camo WIP
Thanks to links Killratio and Pilottj had provided previously in this forum, I have found some info on Soviet P-40s. This is the Tomahawk IIb flown by Capt. Ridnyi Stepan Grigorievich during the defense of Moscow in the winter of 1941-1942. Just about set, but does anyone know where the pitot tube is located in the paintkit?

If all else fails try the quadrant method of trial & error. Create a file diced up into quarters with different colors. Whichever color shows on the target part of the model, dice that one up into quarters, and so on and so on... till you zero in on the specific area.
You do great work! Awesome

That is looking great sir. Glad you found that site useful. As for the pitot tube, I 'think' it might be on one of the parts layers...try turning those layers off and see if you can tell the difference.
Re: Soviet winter camo WIP
Finally found it! And in a pretty obvious spot too.. Guess I wont forget it then from now on anyways. Should be available shortly.

Thanks for the comments guys! It really is a great paint kit full of options which makes it rather easy to use. I need to get more experienced with advanced alpha channels, but in this case, I think it looks fairly good given it is all white paint.
