Hello,
Been having problem saving the settings for each a/c, sometimes it saves, then after modifying another a/c's setting and saving, the previous setting on another a/c resets.

Also, never been able to save the master volume at all.

win7-64. installed to C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X
as admin, uac is on.

now, i see the following behavior on one aircraft, 2 liveries:

1. set default c172 blue gold accu feel=off (disabled for c172)
2. exit flt
3. get out of fsx
4. restart fsx
5. load c172 blue gold
6. confirmed accu feel=off
7. esc pop up
8. exit flt
9. reload c172 blue gold
10. confirmed accu feel=off
11. exit flt
12. load c172 white green or any other aircraft
13. accu feel status=on
14. exit flt
15. load c172 blue gold
16. accu feel is now on <--flipped state!
17. exit flt, fsx, restart, c172 blue gold accu feel=on

general patterns i see are:
view saved accu feel ctrl panel on a/c #1 then load another plane: lose saved setting on a/c #1
save multiple ctrl panel settings per fsx session: only the last one gets saved
if i set the setting for each a/c per fsx session, and don't load a new a/c after viewing the ctrl panel for a saved a/c, the config data sticks.

it's giving me a headache....

aside from saving, works fine.

and where exactly is each a/c's setting saved? would be good to be able to edit a cfg file and being able to back them up.

From what I understand the .cfg is not affected at all, Accu-Feel works in the depths of FSX and doesn't actually make any changes to any of the aircraft's files. The best guess I'd have is to uninstall then reinstall Accu-Feel. Potentially the same for FSX. Did you check the FAQ's?

I have no clue what your issue actually is, but I hope this helps you...

Joe

Try the FAQ links to the simconnect repair. If using windows 7 make sure you have installed by right clicking and selecting save as administrator. Re: the aircraft can you please test with different aircraft rather than the same aircraft with different paints.

thanks,
Lewis

I can confirm that the Master Volume is not being saved. Not sure about the other settings, though. I didn't get around to testing that yet.

Correct, the master section is not saved in the current version. Scott.

thanks for the reply.

1. it was installed as admin as indicated.
2. also tested with different aircraft as indicated and got the same result

could you confirm that you can save multiple profiles per sitting and selecting a different aircraft after opening the applet control panel will not reset the 1st profile?

thanks.

could you confirm these behaviors i'm seeing on my setup are expected or not?

1. open saved accu feel ctrl panel on a/c #1 then load another a/c: lose saved setting on a/c #1
2. save multiple ctrl panel settings per fsx session: only the last one gets saved

Hello all is working ok here. Please remember accu-feel saves per aircraft not per paint/reskin.

thanks,
Lewis

Yup, I have this problem saving per aircraft, not just for paint.

Ok, could you help me with my issue, how to debug/fix?

Try installing simconnect from the FAQ just in case your sim connect is broken. Also try turning UAC OFF if on windows 7. Also are you running FSX as admin by right clicking and selecting to 'run as administrator' ?

thanks,
Lewis - A2A

as indicated above, reinstalled simconnect, didn't fix it.

as indicated above, installed and running fsx as admin.

what i see is when a profile is edited, feel.dat is created and saved for the airplane with a time/date stamp on the file. if i wait few min and select another airplane, the time stamp on the feel.dat file saved few min ago also changes. or essentially selecting another airplane subesquent to opening/saving a feel.dat file resets the feel.dat file.
