I'm having the same issues as kdfw. The settings will not save for any aircraft. All the sounds and everything are working great, it just won't save the aircraft settings.

I noticed that the installer created an A2A folder in the main FSX folder that houses Feel and some files. I also have another folder in Documents and Settings-My Documents-A2A-FSX-Feel- and additional folders of the names of aircraft that I have tried saving with dat files. Is this the correct place for them?

I looked at the dat files in the folders and they have characters in them but nothing legible. Just looks like a mess.

Thanks,
Bill

Well, I have tried everything that I could find in the forum and FAQ's.

I triedinstalling the new simconnect. No change.

I tried uninstalling and re-installing Accu-Feel. No change.

All sounds and sliders work. Just won't save the aircraft settings.

kdfw,

OK, I noticed Lew is not online atm, but I just reproduced this bug here. You are not going mad :) We're looking into this now. Thanks for posting this.

Scott.

evvatc can you please create a new thread as your issue is not the same and its hard to provide support for different issues in one thread.

thanks,
Lewis

well, glad it's not just me but something systematic that can be fixed.

wish the feel.dat are saved in a txt format that can be checked and easily adjusted.

i think evvatc's issue is the same as mine--can't save profiles.

Lewis,
I can start a new thread but I thought my issues were the same as kdfw. Everything works except aircraft settings won't save.

I think kdfw's issue is that they cannot be same in the same session rather than not save at all????

saving only works if one exits the sim prior to loading another aircraft. so it can appear as not saving at all.

Yeah, mine won't save even if I exit the sim prior to loading another aircraft.

Add me to the list of folks that are unable to save their aircraft settings. After closing out FSX, the next session shows the default settings again. I will point out that I do have 'feel.dat' files in the following path: MyName/Documents/A2A/FSX/Feel/. The individual .dat files are then stored there in their own aircraft folder. Looking forward to a solution when available.

Any word on the ETA for the fix? I assume everyone (or w7 users) has a problem saving the settings.

hello kdfw,

Unfortuantly not, only affects a small number. Still working on it, working as quick as we can to get a fix out for this one.

thanks,
Lewis

Odd, if Scott's able to reproduce it, it should be something systematic.

My W7Pro x64 does experience this, but I guess not on all the planes.
Do You need any customer help on this? I'd gladly do some touch and goes with my vast fleet

I seem to one of the small number too.

W7 64 bit.

I haven't systematically analysed the events, but after successfully saving and recalling aircraft with changed values, I flew a few days later and my settings had been replaced by default values regenerated from the model config.
