The engine starts and stops almost immediately unless I put full throttle. At full throttle RPM is about 600. As soon as I decrease throttle and RPM reaches about 300, the engine stops.
My joystick (Saitek AV8R) is correctly calibrated. Funny thing is that on my older computer with the same Saiteck joystick, the J3 was working fine.

Any idea where I should start looking?
engine is in excellent situation
fuel is 100%
oil level is full
primed three times before start
problem occurs in manual start and in autostart

Thanks in advance
Jean-Jacques

what temperatures are you working in? When the oil is too thick because of low temperatures, the friction increases in a such high amount that the engine isn't able to reach an adequate rpm to keep up running. If that rpm is only in range when you set full power, remember that low rpm and high manifold pressure produce heavy stress inside the engine, especially on the crankshaft. If your hardware is ok, you should look after the temperature in the weather settings.
