We are having a problem with 2.12 as the BDG has a high skill key person not available.

The 2.12 date has not been planned as yet.

The south coast piers complete with amusement park look gorgeous :o
I shall overfly Brighton more often...

PS: by any chance, will the sattelite airfields like West Malling receive the same treatment? I am very fond of that since my brother now lives in the former premises of West Malling airfield near the control tower.

Seeing the above post about openning canopys in Spitfires and Hurricanes, I wonder if we'll ever have an open canopy option for the 109 and 110 while their're stopped without it being carried away in the slipstream in the 2.12 patch

West Malling has been remodelled but not as thoroughly as other airfields as IIRC the game version is about a mile away from its true location...!

Well, given that you couldn't do this in real life, I rather doubt that this will be a feature.

You can only fly with open canopy if it slides back and forth to open and close, like the Spitfire, Hurricane and the Ju-87. The Bf-109 canopy hinges to the right to open and in the Me-110 each side of the canopy opens separately!! Thus making it impossible to fly (non sliding canopy) Bf-109 and Me-110 with open cockpit and if you press the "open canopy" button while flying the 109 or 110, you're actually ejecting your canopy (to bail out).
But on the ground there should be no problem, I can open and close the canopy in the 110 without losing it (getting it ejected) however, to my surprise it's not the same for the Bf-109 regardless you're on the ground or in the air, you lose your canopy when you press "open canopy" button!!!

Cheers.
