Finished the case for the power supply.
It is just a simple box to keep all the wires together. I cut the power supply bracket from an old computer case and screwed it to the front of the case.
Access holes are cut in the side for the incoming wires.

Look great. Many many thanks for sharing the processes with us and keeping us all updated on progress of the build (s). It is truly special to see these projects come together 8)

Looking awesome !
I second the video idea, pictures are no longer suitable due to your project size !
Keep up the good work,
Francois

Thanks Francois!

Yes, I will definitely have to look into the video idea. As the cockpit gets more closed in, I am finding it harder to get far enough back to get within the range of the camera for pictures.

Good idea Lewis!
Now that you mention it, I may even already have one. My daughter gave me her old camera a few years back when she got a new one, and there is another lens in the bag. I'll have to check it out.

Hahaha, and I was only joking, but yep. A fisheye certainly would get a whole lot in shot.

I figured it was a joke when I first read it , but then I thought about it and had a eureka moment! :)

Two questions came to mind when I saw the pics:

A. Just how serious is this guy?

and

B. Just how much disposable income and time does this guy have?

Looks like things are coming along nicely. Very impressive. Hope you're not married, or you're prepared for divorce if you are, or you have a very patient and loving wife!

Not really sure how to respond to this. :?

"This Guy", namely me, is a retired submariner with a Canadian Forces pension, and I work part time. I am not rich by any means. My ex-wife left a long time ago, and I raised my two daughters. They both have graduated from University and left home within the last few years. That has left me with a little more disposable income.

My health is screwed up from Peacekeeping in the Middle East, and the toxic environment of a diesel submarine. Because of this, I don't go out much, so my passion has become flight simming and building this cockpit. I actually started on this in various forms a couple of years ago, so the expense has been spread out over time.

Thank you for the compliment.
