I was talking to a a guy that all he does is build pcs he said what i need to try is to sli my nvidia card to another. He said my ram is good and my processor is ok but for the power fsx guzzles I need two cards. Ive got lots of ram and space for even more. Just bought my first set of ddr3s. Im gonna try to sli two gtx 260s. I dont fly congested airspace airliner stuff so no biggie there. Thanks for the help though. I was afraid it would come to this.
You're only going to see an SLI benefit with FSX
when running extreme resolutions where I understand it helps alleviate some of the extra load of anti-aliasing so many pixels. I run FSX with 3 screens using a Matrox th2go and the difference for me is very noticeable between 1 card or 2 cards. However, if you are just running a single monitor with a standard resolution, I wouldn't bother. Some have even claimed that it makes things worse. Obviously other
games will benefit by SLI in that circumstance.
