Looks outstanding !
However, the canopy seems to lack a bit of polygons, it's not looking so smooth in the first screen.

The RAF Mustang IV shown was a P-51K, so it is an ahistorical skin considering the A2A WoP3 P-51D is a later version. This particular scheme was done with the paintkit that will be online when the product is released.

If imperfections that minor mean better frame rates, I'll take them any day!

Great pictures Scott, I can't wait!

Scott,
Thanks for the 'teaser' images. Really looking forward to this product from your team! The weather out here in Montana is going to be a typical Memorial Day 'wet weekend' so that means way too much time indoors.

It would be 'Memorial' to have this released this weekend for many reasons, one of which is that I can play with it during that time!!

Please?

The number of polygons on native FSX aircrafts have almost no impact on the performance, especially on such small aircrafts.
The canopy is an important part.
Also, this Mustang WILL be compared directly to the Warbirdsim one. There's no room for mistakes ;)

She looks great.
I've been out of FSX since mid March secondary to video card slowly crapping out on me. I've decided to save for a newer PC, instead of upgrading the power supply and getting a newer video card. I have a couple more weekends to work, then purchase the new PC.
I've been sucking on this old P4 "titty" long enough.
I will purchase but not install until end of June or July.
