Roger,

Looking between the pics at some of the peaks in detail, it looks like your free mesh does a really good job in this area.

Hi, Every person here has talked about Orbx scenery and it is very good eye candy and looking at the Map the roads, rivers and lakes seem to be in the right places. How ever what has not been said, is that you will have to Repurchace, all of your A2A aircraft at full price again FSX will not fit P3dv3/4.

Hi, the videos that gibo has link is a little unfair. The first one is of an aircraft doing 120 knots from 5000ft to below in a 64 Mhz sim and the other of a fast jet doing 550 knot from I presume 5000ft to below at one point down to 180 feet in a 32 Mhz sim. There is just no comparison

I doubt Dudley will have trouble getting his planes upgraded to the 64Bit.

Hey Chewit,

The two videos were not intended to compare 64bit with 32bit, but to show how good PR scenery can look at a higher and lower altitude at varying speeds without being blurry. The 64bit is definitely superior. Both these videos show better performance than even default scenery as they do not need autogen which has a huge impact on pc performance. IMHO, you only need autogen or 3d buildings if around a city and/or points of departure and arrival.

The external view appears a little stuttery in the 64bit video, however I am recording the centre of three 27in monitors set up as a Prepar3d View Group. With one monitor running I will get between 80 to 100fps with that scene. My system except for video cards is 6 year old.

Cheers,

gibo

Hi Roger. Thought I'd add my contribution to your comparison shots.
