Re: Failure of the TDS GTN750NXi to initiate on Comanche Startup
Well, I can now report a tentative success with the replacement Comanche250ControlsPage.js file. (Without uninstalling and reinstalling the Comanche.) Again, I started the simulator with the Comanche on a runway with everything running – except that the GTN750NXi was dark. Then I started to experime...

Re: Failure of the TDS GTN750NXi to initiate on Comanche Startup
Hi Nick, Thanks for getting back so quickly. Unfortunately, replacing the prior Comanche250ControlsPage.js with the new one did not solve the problem. Starting up with N6229P on the runway and already running yielded a dark “dead” GTN750NXi. If I immediately shift to another aircraft, starting from ...

Failure of the TDS GTN750NXi to initiate on Comanche Startup
My install of the Comanche will not initiate the TDS GTN750NXi. I would appreciate some help in debugging this failure. This is the Comanche v1.2 that did install correctly a few days ago. I flew v1.2 several times (say half a dozen) without a problem with the GTN750NXi at all. (And several dozens o...

Re: Sound problem
Hi all, I had this problem arise unexpectedly. Without knowingly making any changes, I lost the internal sounds for the Bonanza (and the other Accusim aircraft). The solution I stumbled on is simple, and Nick and Lewis will know about it. They probably don't know just how careless their own pilots m...

Re: Preparing the Aerostar [video]
Lovely video, Scott. Just a joy to see you at work/play.
That is just such a charismatic aircraft. Hope that it is not too long before we see the Twin Aerostar...in reality as well as in electronic digital form.
Best Wishes,
M

Re: Should A2A release official trainers even if not "complete" by our standard?
Scott, once you explain what you have in mind, the answer is an easy YES. Your producing a professional (by USAF standards) pilot experience is the essence of the contemporary A2A ethos. And that ethos has produced a reputation that we all respect and honor. It surely sounds as though the A2A model ...

A special New Year's thanks for you regulars who have contributed so many wonderful liveries for the Bonanza and other A2A aircraft.

Re: Shimmering letters in annonciator panel above the ADI
Just to confirm the same experience with the same high display P3Dv4.3 settings. Or even with 8xSSAA. [This with a GTX1080 video card and 2560x1440x32 resolution] Up very close, there is no shimmering. But when the eyepoint is moved back to a normal position, the flickering becomes noticeable. The A...

Re: Cockpit sounds very low
Thanks, Joseph.
I installed and found everything fouled up. Poor sound. Oil missing. Gauges unrepairable. RPM's uncontrollable. Engine seizes. Etc.
But a simple uninstall and then reinstall did the trick perfectly. (We've had these problems before. Simconnect?)
Again, much appreciated.
Mike

Re: Favourite scenery addons
If you want to fly in a region, the ORBX "full fat" regions are a great pleasure. They provide more detailed custom landclass, terrain mesh, some photo-real land/water features, and special "points of interest". Overlooked, but especially important, are the lightly-modeled airpor...

Re: Anyone have experience buying a computer from Jetline Sy
Two thumbs up here. The two principals at Jetline are terrific people who will craft a system for each customer's needs. Perhaps not the least expensive solution. And if you want to build your own, wonderful. But if you are unable to do so and want expert design coupled with superb customer service,...

Superbly finished in classic colors that remind us of an earlier age.
