Re: Windows 10 HELL please, any news?
Have you tried running 2.04 or 2.07 under W10?
IIrc someone found out the way W10 or 8 treats Dx9 game memory is different than W7 or below. BOB 2.0 was not very stable but was good from 2.04 onwards, and didn't use much more ram.
It's worth a try.

Re: Period Mods
I vaguely recall I've read somewhere it will be released in 2010 'njo matter what, because of financial problems in case of postponing the release any further' (not a quote!). That's not a good reason to release in my opinion."It's crap and broken but we have to release it because of financial...

Re: Flying buses
IIRC, the routes are described in the .BFI for the airfield. I'd guess the busses 'drive' at the same altitude they start at. The routes are marked out in the standard units that the objects add system uses, and you just mark out a route for them. There's no reason a train couldn't be added I suppos...

Re: CTDs after installing 2.09 patch
I'm surprised you can get it run at all JR2. I thought Microsoft, in their infinite wisdom, had given up supporting dx8 hardware in the later versions of dx9 sdk. AFAIK, the geforce 4 and 3 stopped being supported at about bob 2.06, due to that. Before that, it worked great. I suppose it all depends...

Ah Buddye, you do know how to tease people!
If you'd been a lady, I'd guess you'd have been a burlesque star
Good news on the MP front, as it can only give BOB a new lease of life

Re: Which and Where
Which ever version you buy, you won't need the CD after install as the patchs removes the need to use the CD to play. There are quite a few versions as you say, and it depends a lot on where you live, as to what you get. The newer versions are cheaper but you get less in the box. You can also downlo...

Knowing Rowan, they probably modelled the drag and weight of the bomb racks, as they carried externally on the 110.

Re: The brief and disastrous career of Sqn Leader (Whirly) Bird
I disagree, Bader. The Germans were not privy to the English fighter spec's. I make a guess that they did see how the UK fighter planes degraded in performance when they bunted. In front of them one would get away and behind them one could easily close the gap. Andy Serkis is wrong, he must not hav...

Re: Maps and Airfields?/Navigation
Your right Clive. There are errors on quite a few parts of the map. The Exeter part wasn't mapped too cleverly by Rowan, simply because it wasn't central to BOB really. Not a lot of gain for what is a pain in the proverbial. There is a large area in Kent that is fairly blank that I was having a go ...
