The A2A Simulations Community

I found out what the problem was, the person who reinstalled FSX for me installed it to a file called Flight Simulator FSX, I had it installed in Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator FSX. I want to thank all of you who took the time to help me, greatly appreciated.

All the other planes appear fine including the default.

I am using FSX.

I just re-downloaded all the planes I had purchased and all the textures are black, my computer was just repaired, what in the world did I do wrong? Thank you.

I reinstalled the SP2 standard but it made no difference. I just deleted all of the planes and reinstalled they along with the most current AccuSim and everything is back to normal. Thank you very much for all your assistance.

I am unable to check 'bypass". The default 172 does not have gauges so it must be simconnect, right? I downloaded simconnect installed it but nothing changed. The advanced animations is checked. Does that mean FSX is screwed up?

When I try to go to the hanger I get the message "Access to Maintenance Hanger only on ground and with engine off" Click to bypass" The engine is not running and when I try to start it smoke comes out and the prop does not move after a few tries the smoke stops appearing. Apparently t...

The controllers are checked and I deleted FSUIPC and still do not have any of the functions on A2A planes. I do have them working on other planes but not A2A.

Yes, I do have FSUIPC on my computer but I never use it. Do you think that might be the problem if so what should I be doing?

I was trying to use Instant Scenery 3 in FSX without success I left the program and when I tried to work all the functions (rudder, etc) on all of my Accu-Sim planes (172, 180, 182, 250 and T6) none of them worked. Not sure what I did wrong but how do I go about correcting this?

My computer hard disk was formatted and all the A2A planes and Accu-Feel program were obviously deleted. What is the proper procedure I should use to reinstall everything? I had the Accu-Feel B17, Piper Cub, 180, 182, 250 and Texan. Thank you.

Thank you Lewis I did what you suggested ie go to the FSX folder and everything works fine now.

I am using FSX,Windows 8.1 I am going to the aircraft.cfg, right click on security, highlight Administrator, click advance, click edit and all boxes are checked except Special Permissions, that is grayed out. I don't know how to get Special Permissions not grayed. What am I doing wrong?

I don't know what is happening but I keep trying to add a paint to the T6 and keep getting the message I do not have permission to add it. I have done it before with the T6 but for some reason I cannot do it now. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
