Re: Input Configurator

Nick - Thank you so much! All working thanks to you explaining the SHOW Number option in the P3D menu - I didn't realise that was an in-sim option (I was wrongly looking at Windows Controllers) and by manually editing the axisConfig controller number has enabled the A2A options in the Input Configur...

Re: Input Configurator

Hi Nick, The 'enable controllers' box is ticked, I have cleared the P3D axis assignments and allocate the axis through FSUIPC. In the P3D menu I use 'direct input' as control method, I tried 'raw input' but still no connection with the Input Configurator. I've given Administrator rights to the Input...

Re: Input Configurator

Hi Lewis - controllers all on and functioning in FSUIPC. I tried the SimConnect.msi in the P3Dv5 redist folder for FSX-SP2-XPACK to see if that worked, but again no luck. I actually have none of the Input Configurators for any of my A2A aircraft working, I had originally added the Elevator Trim butt...

Input Configurator

I'm unable to get the PA-28 Carb Heat (set to Slider control using the Input Configurator) to work in P3Dv5.1. The Input configurator shows movement in the Slider axis, but when using the PA-28 nothing happens. I've set the configurator to run as Administrator and restarted the computer. Is there an...

Re: Need a bit of help from someone up and running in FS2020; subject, controller assignments.

It's taken me about 3 days to get the views sorted on my HOTAS Warthog to a point where I can pan and zoom into panels when I want. Definitely not intuitive, but actually offers many more options than I had in P3Dv5. I like the snap views L and R and all the options to snap at the speed I want. What...

Re: C182 in P3DV5 HF1

Hello, I had a fuel leak issue - I have installed the mini patch and all is good. A 1 Hour flight with no issues from start up to shut down. Closed P3D, restarted it and still no fuel leak!! :D Thanks for your work with finding it.

Re: C182 in P3DV5 HF1

Further to this - I had the fuel leak issue & deleted the log files which cleared the fault. One short flight later and the fuel leak is back. Initially I could repair it, but it returned immediately. I'm not sure if there is a link but I'm also using the F1 GTN 750 and 650 in my setup. Oil or ...

Re: [Updated 14 April 2020 with info for current P3Dv4 users] P3Dv5 and A2A Simulations

Hi Thanks where is the add-on.xml? The add on XML is in My Documents where you'll find a folder for A2A and also where you'll find a folder for P3Dv4. The P3D folder for P3Dv5 should be alongside it. You can copy the entire A2A folder to P3Dv5 and change the XML file to show the new location of you...

Re: P3Dv4 Reinstall

New P3Dv4.1 install cured it. Phew!!!!
I noticed the P3D content didn't automatically install. Had to add that manually even although I used the setup.exe to load it.
Thanks for the help and suggestions.
Regards

Re: P3Dv4 Reinstall

Ive just reinstalled the C172 P3Dv4 download - still no brakes, parking or otherwise. I removed FSUIPC but the problem remains. I have returned FSUIPC to the Modules folder, still no brakes. It's strange I can't click the brake handle in the VC either. The hand appears but no actions are possible. O...

Re: P3Dv4 Reinstall

I've run the simconnect msi but no luck. I didn't add that I use the latest version of FSUIPC but the brakes don't function either through FSUIPC or using the P3Dv4.1 controls page setup or by clicking the VC parking brake hotspot or using CTRL and . either. In the Shift-3 menu I can't apply chocks ...

P3Dv4 Reinstall

Hi Everyone, I've just reinstalled P3Dv4.1 and my first aircraft installed is the C172 (Academic v2.0). I've downloaded the P3Dv4 installer and run the update (10_12_17). I'm using Win 10 OS. P3D default aircraft all respond properly. I seem to be missing parking brake control either manually by cli...
