Re: A2A Got it right!
Rarebear,
I couldn't agree more with your statement. I used to fly quite a bit with a C182Q with a O-470U engine many years ago and the A2A Aircraft just made me feel at home at once.

Re: Experienced FS but not a rw pilot has some rw questions
Great Ozzie, I think we are close to an agreement but not quite......... we look at it a slightly different way. I will try to explain my point of view, please bear with me, I'm a stubborn old man :-) Propeller theory isn't easy and the diameter plays a part here but not much. The reason for the sma...

Re: Experienced FS but not a rw pilot has some rw questions
My 172S POH disagrees. The 172S comes standard with a 60° pitch prop designed for a higher cruise speed. The 70° prop which is a factory option is designed for a "more efficient climb". Again, this is just going off of the information I have in the POH. OK, I will do my best to expl...

Re: Experienced FS but not a rw pilot has some rw questions
4. The props are designed with a certain pitch to them based on their expected use. The stock prop for the 172R is a performance or "climb" prop. It is designed to give more power in the climb, thus getting you out of that backwoods airstrip, but as a result, it is not effecient at faster...

Re: SE-GON - WIP (for the vintage scheme lovers)
I'm looking forward to this one since I started my flying career in the seventies when puke green was hot stuff Besides that this seems to be the first repaint with "SE-" om the wing.
