Re: B377 Strat and MSFS2020
As a developer I can tell you that MSFS is in no way ready for a complex steam gauge plane like the 377. They change things every update and last months update might make trash all your work. I keep FSX for the B377 and use Cal Classic Propliners vintage airports and such. I think the B 377 is the ...

This is all super cool! I'm curious if there is any news or any new decisions taken on the X-Plane front?

I'd love to see some kind of active animation paired with that showing angle of attack, etc.

Re: Oh no big crash at Reno Air Races
This is an exceedingly pointless argument, and a rather tacky one to be having when you're talking about a situation where people were killed in a nasty, bloody way. The other chap stuck his foot in his mouth. Put the toys back in the pram and move on.

Nice! That's a decent idea. Would you mind sharing the price tag on that beast? And I'd love to have reports on how it performs for you!

Re: PC Rebuild
Thanks for the suggestions, guys.
Anyone have any links to some resources or more complete parts lists? I was hoping for some more complete ideas beyond the CPU, I'm not sure what all will need to go into the build.

PC Rebuild
Hey guys, Some of you may remember me. I was p. active about 6 months ago, and was active a lot about a year before that. I was building a 377 centric VA called Wellington International. Well, earlier in the year, my PC started to die, and I was unable to do anything about it. I'm going to soon be g...

Not to become a thread necro, but I've re-opened this line of inquiry. I'm looking at this: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Lenovo+-+Ideacentre+Desktop+/+Intel%26%23174;+Core%26%23153;+i7+Processor+/+8GB+Memory+/+1TB+Hard+Drive/1492867.p?id=1218262975566&skuId=1492867 Good for FSX? Yes? No? Bueller?...

Turbo checks
So, I am a pretty good hand at the 377 now -- so long as I don't get distracted in flight  -- and I'm familiar with the various subtleties and challenges she presents, but I always skip over the part of the checklist. I am speaking about: 3. Place all four engine propeller selector control swi...

Meh, disregard. I decided a reinstallation was less trouble than going through all the troubleshooting. She's burning gas now.

Re: Thinking about buying the Strat
I honest to God have never found the Strat to be all that complicated. I don't even use the checklists anymore, she's pretty easy to get running and get off the ground. I've had a bit of trouble in descent, but that's about it. Not to say it's not a good plane, I love it to death and don't begrudge ...
