Re: Warbird Pinup Girls

It isn't exploitation of the 'female' if the said females are volunteering to do it. This world was better prior to PC. Well pjc747, I can't say I'm the world's biggest fan of PC, but you have to understand where it came from. Even in the 80's women were being whistled at in the workplace, patted o...

Re: Funny little initial experience with Accucore 1.5

It's the battery..... You didn't have to do a complete overhaul. Just visit the hangar and exit. The battery is then recharged.... It's okay in my case since I had actually meant to wipe out the .log files anyway before installing 1.5 in the first place, and/or almost all of the planes were in a vi...

Re: Nice flight with Accusim 1.5 Update

Agreed. For a while now the Warhawk was my hangar queen, but now she is a blast to fly again just like when I first got her! One thing that seems to have gone, or been severely minimized is the strong right pull in a high speed dive. I'm not sure if this was intentional or not, but either way I'm r...

Re: minor things about the core update 1.5 (what i dislike)

Have you guys ever checked out a little program called real trim? Basically you assign it a button on your stick, and then move your stick so your flying level. Hit the button and then move your stick back to centre then let go of the button. You will find your airplane trimmed to the attitude you ...

Re: minor things about the core update 1.5 (what i dislike)

I'm not sure why nobody ever implements a solution for a variable rate trim. Fortunately I do this through FSUIPC/mousewheel on planes that have an actual wheel for the pilot to turn, but I can certainly see how this would annoy people using just a thumb switch on their joystick....sometimes you wan...

Re: RXP Integration for the civi...

I seriously agree. Given the integration of the RXP units in the Realair Duke and Lancair as a 3D all bells and whistle mask, this is a bit of a show stopper for me. I would not think twice about buying if the RXP 430 could be integrated as a 3D object... I bought the RA Dukes and Lancair pretty mu...

Nice flight with Accusim 1.5 Update

I know all the buzz is about the civ. Mustang right now, but I just wanted to write a quick note about the P-40 with the 1.5 Core update. I haven't flown the warbirds for maybe as much as 6 months now, and I've been avoiding the P-40 specifically because of some of the drag issues. I took it up and ...

Funny little initial experience with Accucore 1.5

I had an anomaly the first time I loaded the P-40 up after installing the 1.5 Core update. I noticed that some little things didn't work...like the flaps didn't work with Auto Hydraulic pump, the landing lights didn't extend, etc...I did a complete overhaul even though there was nothing wrong with t...

Re: RXP Integration for the civi...

The optional flat panel approach is certainly better than nothing, but I'm still hoping that they can update at some time to true 3D integration with the rxp 430...and if not for the Mustang, then definitely for the future Piper and Cessna in the works. The choice between seeing a pretty, but noneth...

Re: RXP Integration for the civi...

I remember them saying that they were at least going to provide a no knob flat space option to place the gauge, a la Milviz C310....are you absolutely sure that they didn't Torejoh? I don't know why you are trying to cram the 430 into the window display of the 400 either...

Amateur 3D modelling tools

It has been years and years since I messed around with any 3D modelling tools...and I mean years. I had a good working knowledge of earlier versions of Blender back in the day...the user interface was appalling...and the latest version I downloaded just the other day, not only was it completely diff...
