Re: Graphics Card Advice
Honestly, I would not go anymore for a GTX-970, unless it is a really good pick regarding the price. Reason: it is outdated and still has this annoying 3.5GB + 0.5GB VRAM issue. I rather go for a brand new series, depending on your budget a GTX-1060, a GTX-1070 or even a GTX-1080. Compared to your G...

Re: New Captain of the Ship Aircraft + 50% off COTS this wee
Great news! I am pretty sure that this faint logo on the lower right side of the shaded "RESERVED" square would provide a hint on the upcoming plane, but honestly, I have no idea what this symbol is all about. I do certainly not recognize it. Anyone a guess?

Re: Accu-Sim Update 4_16_16 DOWNLOAD
Honestly, I do not know what exactly you did for the last update, but hats off, this is a game changer for me. So far, I only flew with the C172, but for me, this update improved the immersion of this plane beyond expectations. Flying around with the C172 in Prepar3d v3.2 was so far more or less bor...

Re: Shockwave for P3D V3
As I also have massive issues with AI traffic lights in v3.1, I wonder: your A2A planes (C172, Comanche and Cherokee) have wonderful nav lights, strobe lights and beacon lights even in v3.1 of Prepar3d. However, using the shockwave lights does not work at all. Do you think that it would be possible ...

Landing gear door issue
Hi all, While I had some difficulties to manage my FSX on the new W10 upgrade, I realized that when flying around with the Comanche, somehow the landing gear door of the front wheel seems to be a little bit bugged. I raise the gear manually after takeoff by using the switch in the VC, as soon as it ...

Re: windows 10
Does Steve's DX10 Fixer work at all on FSX running on Windows 10? At least on my build, it does work without any issue, yes. I did not even had to re-register my FSDT airports in my registry, nothing. Fired up FSX after the upgrade to W10 and everything worked as it should and as it did on W7. Only...

Re: Be aware before you upgrade to windows 10
In other words, would using my Win7 Product Key for Win10 (which, I gather, is how it works) invalidate the key's future ability to activate my copy of Win7? It stays the same, no matter if you upgrade and then perform a clean install or if you perform a clean install from scratch: your Windows 7 k...

Re: windows 10
Are you using FSX boxed or FSX-SE? I use FSX boxed. Btw: the nVidia driver issue was resolved with another restart. Means: I turned on my PC yesterday evening and the boring message about the driver not being installed properly was gone. Works like a charm now. I also instantly turned off whatever ...

1-windows 10 uses your network bandwidth to share updates with other Windows 10 users across the Internet. Re: windows 10
How much extra disc space is consumed by installing the upgrade? I successfully installed Windows 10 as an upgrade to Windows 7, had 30GB free on my system disc and that was sufficient. Now, the old Windows 7 is stored in a folder called "Windows.old", using roughly 25GB of hard disk spac...

Re: windows 10
I installed Windows 10 as an upgrade over Windows 7 yesterday and fired up FSX. So far no issues at all, only minor bug: the FSX profile I created using nVidia Inspector in Windows 7 somehow does not work with Windows 10. I reconfigured the nVidia Inspector from scratch now in Windows 10 and everyth...

@LZ-WIL: I think you did not really get his point...
@Topic: I second this request. It is for sure a nice little gimmick, but it does not really suit the paints I use the VC textures with. And it ruins the otherwise great new cockpit appearance.

Re: Again: engine start problems...
Well, just to inform you: no priming at all did the trick for me. And some additional patience. At least I was now able to start the engine at 37°C (what we had here yesterday afternoon). I totally agree with the others here, it is fantastic to have a rendition of a plane with such a realism.
