Custom flight controls question

Hey guys, Some of my saitek stuff has pretty much wore out lately and I'm in the market for some replacements. If I had to buy something I would probably go with a full motion floor mounted stick. They are pretty expensive but if I'm going to make an investment like that I was hoping to find a compa...

You should definitely go. It was the best 500 I've ever spent. I'm already putting money away to be checked out.

A2A testimonial (real world T6 flight)

On Sunday I had the opportunity to take a 1.1 hour flight in a Harvard mk.4. I honestly thought I was just going for a ride, get shown some aerobatics and maybe get to take the stick for a couple mins in level flight. What he let me do was well, everything. I started out with level flight, then stee...

Re: Pick a car, any car!

Ideally, my 68' with an updated suspension system and a 4 speed trans would be my ideal daily driver. I'll get it there someday, just takes money. I bought it when I was 23 and have put around 13,000 miles on it. I love it and wouldn't take anything in trade but it's an old car, loud, rough and gene...

Re: Veterans Day

A question for all you yanks: I'm Canadian and the week leading up to rememberence day it's a tradition to wear a poppy. The past two days I've driven 1400 miles across the US and haven't seen one. I was wearing a poppy when I crossed the border but took it off after I noticed no one was wearing any...

Re: Why I am never flying non-Accusim-planes

I didn't think an aircraft in FSX could improve specific flying skills in certain aircraft until I started flying A2A products. Since the release of the T6 I have become a better tail wheel pilot in real life and for that I am endebted.
For pilots there is A2A. For everyone else, there is the rest.

Re: While waiting for the Connie

Where's the crosswind Donald? Sedona is the best for practicing landings with the winds usually blowing 270 10-15knts in the afternoon.

Re: Hobbs time T-6

I'm just under 50 hours. 4600 or so airframe and 936 on the engine. At 930hours maintenance hanger reported white metal. I've been running it normally ever since with no changes. Still getting oil pressure and full power so don't see any reason to overhaul. This is more time than I've spent in sim i...

Re: AT-6 Crashes out of my home airport.

Very sad too see. From what I heard from talking to friends at falcon, the pilot was a member of the CAF out of the base in Mesa. I spent a couple months there volunteering and became aquatinted with the pilot. He was a very friendly, stand up kind of guy from what I saw. Young, around 40 and a very...

Re: Question for Dudley

Thanks for the reply Dudley. I think the mistake I was making was focusing on aileron first and too much at initial touchdown and this would account for my over correction of rudder further on down the landing roll.

Question for Dudley

Hi Dudley, I spend a lot of my time getting closer to proficiency in the T6 by practicing crosswind landings (8-15knts). I'm applying the same theory and actions as I do with the 180 irl as I'm gaining proficiency with it. In fsx with the six I crab on final in the crosswind until I'm about 1/4 mile...
