Re: repaint but keep persistance
Dchap1, search for “.dat” in the Comanche for MSFS tech support forum. The .dat file keeps your hours and persistence. I’m still stuck in P3D so I can’t help you further save for the suggested search mentioned above. Its not hard to accomplish in P3D so I can’t imagine it being so in MSFS.

Innovation…bending the limits… isn’t that a core A2A characteristic? Be sure to make certain all of your destinations do actually exist in the sim! And best of luck to you, its going to be quite an adventure!

Here is one source that Adam NZ put together to help conserve Tom’s work: https://www.nzfsim.org/tom-weiss-a2a-li ... hive-p-40/
A Google search will probably turn up more results!

Re: Engine priming proc.
I think the short answer is the increased possibility of flooding during the start. If you leave the mixture rich, then as the engine is turned by the starter the engine driven pump is adding still more fuel on top of your prime. Just a guess, though.

Re: Tom Weiss repaints
There was this thread a while back where Adam_NZ was asking for Tom’s repaints so he could place them all in a central location. If you have any of his repaints, you could contact Adam _NZ through this forum so he can link them on his site! There are so many great paints Tom did that were lost when ...

Re: Cannot have the T6 and the P-40 working on P3D v4
Good you got things going again! Just a quick word of caution : things can get wonky if you load directly into a complex aircraft (like A2A aircraft). Loading into a default P3D aircraft first and then switching to your A2A aircraft takes a little more time but does eliminate the potential for stran...

Re: Cannot have the T6 and the P-40 working on P3D v4
Are you starting P3Dv4 at a default airport in a default P3dv4 airplane and then loading the A2A aircraft…or do you load directly into the A2A aircraft from the start menu?

Re: Disable Persistent Aircraft
Yes, Flapman is right: the Damage On/Off selector in shift+3. I’ve never NOT had persistent aircraft (with A2A aircraft) :) so I’m not certain if that eliminates fuel usage, oil consumption, etc or if it just eliminates damage and wear over time. It certainly gets you closer to what you are trying t...

Re: Disable Persistent Aircraft
You can mostly accomplish that by going into the maintenance hangar (shift + 7 on your keyboard) after every flight and selecting a “complete overhaul”. Then in the shift +3 panel select cold and dark before every flight. You will still need to go to the shift+4 - “payload and fuel manager panel” to...

Local files > verify integrity of game files should find and repair any missing or corrupt files in FSX-SE. i used to do this a couple of times a year, or whenever strange events occurred, as a first step in trouble-shooting FSX-SE. When this trim runaway happens, is the manual elevator trim wheel ...

Re: Cherokee Radio Stack not working in P3D
To follow on what Tomas mentioned above, in your menu atop the screen choose Options > Graphics then in the lower right is a box with “view and panel settings” and a slider for “2d panel transparency”. This is P3Dv4 but probably the same or similar between versions.

Re: A2A Bonanza V Tail
Do you start the sim using a default aircraft at a default airport? Or do you load straight in to the Bonanza? I don’t see this mentioned elsewhere and so I ask because sometimes loading directly into A2A aircraft can lead to some odd consequences. This may, or may not be the cause, but its worth me...
