Re: Blackout at high altitude

I'm a little confused, as I was flying the Cherokee last week and I thought for sure I ran across blackout. I was flying Montana to Wyoming at 11,000 feet. The autopilot was on. I was away for a bit, and came back and noticed I was at 17,000. The VC view was pulsing in and out and then the screen we...

Re: N8890V ready for download

I like this repaint. I like all the green in it, which gives it such a retro look. It's the one I've been using new. Thanks for it.

Re: Pan Am Around the World Tour KSFO-KBOS (Final Leg)

More fantastic photos. Thanks. Is that all default scenery? They look great.

How do you get up to Fl 310? I must be too heavy when I fly. I'm usually down in the 20's. I'm sure that extra speed at 310 sure helps.

P-40 found in the desert

I did not see this posted anywhere. I thought P-40 fans would enjoy it. P-40 found in Egypt after 70 years in the desert.

Re: The P-40? Why the P-40

I have the P-40, the Spitfire and the P-47 and each one is a different experience for me. Each one is like a museum of a certain period of time. Each has its own strengths and weaknesses. Each is a propeller plane, that is all that seems similar to me. There are new systems to learn and new ways of ...
