Re: P3DV5 aerobatic P-40 at Leeds
RIP hydraulic pump. You had the pump running the entire time (audible high pitch noise). You should only operate ir when retracting/extending gear and flaps.

Re: P51 Civilian
That is because said whistling sound is caused by the gun-barrels and the airflow going through them, which the civilian version does not have or has them simply shut. Kinda love how A2A pays attention to these details.

Re: De- and anti-icing when flying with the FE.
Yeah, the latest active sky in p3d v4.4. Has quite a severe case of prop icing lately, which resulted in large RPM fluctuations on two of the four engines. Would be cool if the anti- and de-icing systems were in the hands of the pilot or there was a command in the shift + 2 panel.

De- and anti-icing when flying with the FE.
So I noticed that when using the FE in the Connie that he does not recognize carb icing in time and does not pull the carb heat enough. Same goes for prop and airframe icing. If you flip the switches on the co-pilot's panel they flip right back down.

Pretty sure there is a box you should tick in the P3D settings to enable windschield effects. Check if this is the case.

Indeed. Having them on the L-049 would surely make it quite a bit more immersive in rain.

Outstanding stuff! When can we expect those effects to come to the rest of the A2A fleet (and maybe the Constellation with the windscreen wipers)?

Just say out loud "one onethousand, two onethousand, three onethousand" or "one missisipi, two missisipi" etc. - 3sec should about give you 10° Or just simply feel it out.

Re: Just like real flying
I agree, having had some time in, be it older, 182's the Skylane is pretty damn good. It feels just right and does what you'd expect a Skylane to do in real life. So far it's hands down my favorite GA by A2A - a very stable and versitile plaform with some great bush-capabilities. Haven't really foun...

Re: How to make a good approach and landing with the V35B?
Just go up to altitude and prictice slow flight (memorize the picture you see, the amount of trim you need and the general feel) - once you master slow flight you'll master your landings.

Yeah that's what I figured. Usually fly my planes almost empty with just the pilot.
