Re: A2A Aerostar Restoration Update
Three years ago a 777 pilot bought "Two Papa Charlie" from a bank repo. The former owner had just rebuilt both engines and had the plane stripped and painted. The 777 pilot only flew her 65 hrs since the rebuild but found some bad corrosion in the upper cabin from an apparent leak around ...

Re: New product and partnership: Flight Sim In A Box
This looks to be a nice package. It looks odd to see all the Saitek boxes and hardware but then the CH Yoke looks like it should be in a different package. Any special reason for mixing up the suppliers for the Yoke and Pedals? Regards, Ray Most real world pilots simply prefer as Scott does the CH ...

Re: PA-24 with GTN 650/750
Interestingly, I just read in the June 2015 issue of T&T where a shop in Florida received approval for dual 750s in the Cessna Citation 501. Full deal, coupled AP, etc.

Re: PA-24 with GTN 650/750
Has anyone ever seen a real-world Comanche with a 650 or 750? Les, Not personally, but I'm willing to bet there are one or two installations out there flying this very moment. A GTN750 is just slightly more expensive than a replacement cowling / windshield upgrade and a lot more useful. If you adap...

Jep, the MD11 was way ahead of its time. Too bad McD and Douglas couldn't keep the doors open.MatzeH84 wrote:The MD11 had them long time ago.. Just a bit smaller of course.

Re: Anyone successfully added the Autopilot On/Off to joysti
Ray - yeah, as the others mention it's well worth spending a few minutes setting up the excellent 'A2A Comanche Input Configurator' which is available from the A2A Start Menu folder. It allows you to assign a keyboard or joystick control to each of the custom autopilot commands, along with various ...

Re: LoPresti Comanche GTO
Trying to squeeze out that last 1% gain is always the most expensive. (Those replacement cowling prices aren't expensive, they are outrageous.) I flew on one of United's latest Boeing 737-900B models last week. This one had all the latest star wars looking winglets both up and down and the extended ...

Re: Fix for EZDOK camera interference with A2A Walkaround
I'm using P3Dv2.5 with Ezdok v1.18.5 Beta. When I look at the Comanche aircraft.cfg file I do not see any camera views that I can Identify as Ezdok views. I reinstalled Ezdok and now the camera movements in the VC are not responsive like before. Now, they seem to be dragging behind the HAT switch mo...

Re: External Sound
Hello Ray, I'm not sure what GPS issues you are having but so long as your running the latest updater it should be as simple as select in the config program and then apply in the sim via the shift + 3 panel. If you are experiencing issue can you please post. The sound level can be looked at but we ...

Re: External Sound
Whether the sound sliders are at 50%, 80%, or 100% will not change the difference in sound level and sound quality between the VC and the External views. FSX/P3D does not offer external only or VC only sound level adjustments using the sound/setting sliders. Ray - the point is that the FSX/P3D 'air...

Re: External Sound
Guys as mentioned please remember that the FSX slider and Accu-sim are independent so you can tune this yourself in game using the sliders. It sounds like you all have your FSX volume down at like 50% so that's already half your normal system volume whilst running Accu-sim at 100% full system volum...

Anyone successfully added the Autopilot On/Off to joystick?
I cannot seem to map any of the Comanche ST-30 AP controls to my X-52 Pro. Just flat don't work using standard FSX/P3d Control assignments. Keyboard Z will not work either. Anyone have any ideas on this?

Ray
