Re: Strange pulsation effect on takeoff and landing
It's kinda late to offer solution to the pulsating problem on FSX, and it might be anecdotal but I solved my issue and didn't have to reinstall everything like AviationAtWar did. I paid attention to the time frames on when I noticed the problem, what updates and new aircraft I had installed, and the...

Re: No Engine Noise In-Cockpit With Headphones
Yeah, plug in your audio output equipment (headphones, speakers, whatever you actually want to use) before launching FSX (or P3D). I don't know at which point Accusim steps in, registers your audio devices and decides that they shall be used even if new equipment is hotplugged but if you want to pla...

Re: Strange pulsation effect on takeoff and landing
Kinda bummer that the problem still persists as there's been no update for FSX version. Or am I missing something? At least the last combined update for Accusim Core is last years Feb, almost a year old. That's the one pinned and that one is the one I'm running and the one that likely caused the bug...

Re: No Engine Noise In-Cockpit With Headphones
Did you attach your headphones after you launched FSX or before launching it? Because I've found out that FSX itself switches audio output from speakers to headphones via jack sensing... but Accusim does not . Accusim will keep same audio output that was available when program was launched, i.e Accu...

Re: Strange pulsation effect on takeoff and landing
Turning off momentum effect makes the bug just less visible rather than fixing the underlying problem of fluctuating (and reduced) thrust while gear is down. I made a backup copy of the persistent log and tried resetting it to new condition but it didn't help or worsen the weird behavior of the plan...

Re: Strange pulsation effect on takeoff and landing
Gown do you turn that off in FSX? I can’t find it anywhere and that pulsating basically makes the Spitfire unflyable for me. I don't know if it can be configured in FSX. These others have problems with P3D, and us two are using old FSX. FSX does have "G Effects" under "Realism sett...

Re: Low speed fore/aft oscilations
I posted this on another thread about the same bug: The pulsating glitch is also for FSX Spitfire, MarkI and MarkII (although I tested neither with wooden prop). I don't know if it was the latest update that broke it, or the previous one since I took a long pause from flying FSX. Pulsating happens a...

Re: Strange pulsation effect on takeoff and landing
Edited the previous message to contain information from this post, so as to not state false findings or repeat same stuff. Anyway, I haven't yet tried other A2A planes on FSX after the newest update, so I cannot tell of more than Spitfire is affected. Non-A2A planes fly normally. Problem is not limi...

I don't know if it was the latest update that broke it, or the previous one since I took a long pause from flying FSX. Pulsating happens also above stall speed, up to around even 160mph when...

Re: United Breaks Faces
I saw something on Facebook about Ryanair charging for doing this, but the FB page I saw (Waterford Whisperer - based in Ireland) is a parody website. Poe's Law . It's applicable to so many groups, whether it is financial, political or religious in nature. I suspect, but don't know for certain, tha...

Re: United Breaks Faces
Another odd twist is a story on flightaware- evidently Ryanair approves of United's actions, intends to integrate it into their own policy To which I'm not surprised. As a European, I don't even have experience with United but I do have with Ryanair. Flying with them is like navigating a minefield....

Re: United Breaks Faces
An internal email was leaked too showing that there is a different story and discussion within the airline. http://mashable.com/2017/04/10/united-airlines-ceo-staff-memo/#6fpI_gIf8gqT Yeah. Ironically the official statements make United seem even worse than the leaked message. Maybe they knew the o...

United Breaks Faces
Fly United Or Else! (by Mister Metokur) I honestly don't understand why overbooking doesn't carry a 10 year jail sentence for airline CEOs, at the very least if it cannot be resolved by voluntary means (basically having a reverse auction increasing prices until enough volunteers appear). And maybe ...
