Re: Auto-Pilot issue after 04_20_2015 update
Hi A2A Team. I want to let you know that the latest update (09_15_15) has worked for my C172. No Uninstall/Re-install was needed. The little Cessna is flying beautifully. Auto-Pilot Problem Solved. I have yet to try out my Pipers - the 180 and the Cub, but they were doing OK after that earlier updat...

Re: Auto-Pilot issue after 04_20_2015 update
G'day guys. I rolled back to the "A2A_Update_09_26_14" update, and as before the C172 worked perfectly - AP had no problems. I then updated to the latest "A2A_Update_04_20_15" update, and the same problem occured with the AP as I had with the previous "A2A_Update_04_15_15&qu...

Re: Auto-Pilot issue after 04_20_2015 update
Lewis, I tried the configurator in the A2A_C172 folder, but apart from now mimicking having to hold the "on" button for half a second or so, nothing has changed. Thanks for your help anyway. I did find out one more piece of info. Even though the Saitek yoke gets disconnected, the Saitek pe...

Re: Auto-Pilot issue after 04_20_2015 update
Thanks for your help Lewis. I will give that a try. But, does that mean that using the mouse to activate the autopilot would not work untill I have mapped via the config panel? Because I have tried using the mouse with the same end result as using the 'z' key. AP lights up and pressing buttons via t...

Re: Auto-Pilot issue after 04_20_2015 update
Nick: "Just to clarify, when you say the functions "appear" to work, do you mean that active modes ('ROL' and 'VS' for instance) are still displayed on the LCD screen but without any control surface inputs? (i.e. no sign of the yokes in the virtual cockpit moving with the aileron/elev...

Re: Auto-Pilot issue after 04_20_2015 update
The "z" key turns the AP on/off OK Nick. Just to clarify : Before the current update, in the C172, the AP functioned perfectly. After the update, the AP "appears" to function; ie: using the "z" key or using the mouse will "activate" the AP and the different fu...

Re: Auto-Pilot issue after 04_20_2015 update
Thanks for your input Nick. The AP is "showing" that it's activated, all the buttons illuminate the required features, but the AC does not respond to those inputs. I use the "z" key usually - no assignments on my yoke. When pressing the "on/off" button on the unit it wo...

Auto-Pilot issue after 04_20_2015 update
Hi A2A. Sweet plane guys! Thanks :-) ... But I am having a small issue with the Accu-Sim Update 04_20_2015. First up. I always do my updates via the "offline" method. And as such, I always do a backup of the last known working version. My issue with the C172 is that the Auto-Pilot no longe...

Re: flaps and engine sound
That sounds like the same problem I had for a while with most of my aircraft.
The solution for me was an easy fix.
Check out my fix here: >> http://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?/top ... sue-fixed/ <<
I hope that helps.

Re: ALT hold always wants to climb
Hi guys. To repair WIN7 system files without reinstalling the OS, try the "System File Check" program from an admin CMD window. IE: START -> ALL PROGRAMS -> ACCESSORIES - then [right-click] on "Command Prompt" and select "Run as administrator". At the User Account Contr...

Thanks for your beautiful work Nick.
That last one should be popular with many here in the land of "Oz" as we fondly remember VOZ from Australia ... excellent scenery for fs9.

Re: Preflight walk around-hinge bolts and retainer pins.
Yes Brian. I had one fall out on my A2A C172 after only 11.5 hrs !!
So, we must do those walk-around-checks to stay safe.
Fun, isn't it

Re: FSX Problems
Just in case of any hangups during longer flights, I use an application that auto-saves the flight in progress. I have it set for 10 min saves, though you can change that value. Apart from getting back to a long flight after a computer/FSX crash, it's good for going back and re-doing phases of your ...
