Just a small update: After I installed the Microsoft Visual C++ package the a2aservicehelperapp finally started working (hooray ), however, it still doesn't launch automatically. Please check my exe.xml for any errors, I can't find any:

Re: HelperA2Aservice
Good question, I can't even get it to run manually, it just pops up for a few seconds in the system tray then dissapears. I run it as admin too but doesn't make any difference. Can't fly this thing without sound  Hi Andreas, If you launch the app manually, and it's being closed completely afte...

Re: HelperA2Aservice
What does this actually do? I see a lot of problms reported on sound - my earlier sound issues were the result of Quest 2 VR interfering with the sound settings in game options, but still I had to run halpera2a externally to set sound back to Oculus quest headphones. The helpera2a never runs automa...

Re: No sounds
Thanks, I tried that but that program just shut down right after I started it so no-go there. Is there some kind of prerequisites it needs to run?

No sounds
Hi, I'm also plagued with the no-sound issue. However, I have a CLEAN MSFS2020 installation and I installed the Comanche right after I had started the sim for the first time. There seems to be two "exe.xml" files in the folder, shouldn't here be only one? Here's a screenshot: exe_xml.JPG A...

Tbh, I don't care which platform the next A2A release will be on, I just need my next A2A fix.

Re: A2A is MIA
I am very disappointed that MSFS 2020 has been out for more than a year and A2A is still MIA with a product for the sim. Heater, myself and everyone at A2A agree with your sentiment which is why it's been so difficult on both us and our community for us having to remain so quiet. The time will come...

Re: A2A Aerostar Emergency Landing
Hahaha! Hook, line and sinker. Either they've remastered the 250 for P3D or it's actually the 400 for P3D. I don't think it's for FS2020 considering there isn't even an SDK available for that yet. What a teaser...

Re: A2A Aerostar Emergency Landing
Wow! Did not expect to read something like that here. Thank goodness you are both safe and that the plane is in one piece. 2020 really was a sucky year, here's to 2021! Maybe now we'll get som "accu-skid" tech in future releases.

Re: I had my first failure in flight
Flaps getting stuck are probably my most common flight failure in a2a ga planes. Guess I come in to high and hot for landing, too much strain on the flaps.

Re: F2 2020 and A2A Simulations
I just hope it comes out on ANY platform considering that P3D seems to lose both third-party developer and user support. In the meantime, whilst FS2020 is very impressive, FS2020 doesn't even have complete SDK yet and there's no guarantee that developers will get the same level of access to data inp...
