Re: P3Dv6

About the thermal paste - even high quality paste will degrade over time. It’s kind of a suspension of microparticles in silicone oil and the oil can dry and thicken. The thermal paste also “moves” a little each thermal cycle and is part of the “break-in” time where a new paste job increases in the...

Re: Bonanza LVAR List

Thanks so much Roger. Big help! Upon looking more deeply into this I'm not sure this is going to help much. That is a list of the function names only. The actual LVar's are different. LINDA has modules that have been prepared by guenseli and posted to the support forums. You can download from link ...

Re: Bonanza LVAR List

I think this will help. I used LINDA and printed a functions list. Note that any spaces need to be replaced with an underscore ( _ ).

Re: P3Dv6

Since my MSFS is now behaving 'properly' I've abandoned thoughts of returning to P3D of any version. In the past I've reinstalled P3Dv5 four times just so I could get my A2A stable back. Each time they lasted 10 minutes! I tried to fly P3Dv4 twice last weekend to get some stick time in the P51 Civi...

Re: NAV Light Variable

The NAV lights in the Comanche are more of a rotary switch. The lights are attached to the instrument panel lights. The LVar is < NavInstrLightSwitchPct >. The switch needs to get to something like 11% for the NAV lights to come on. I don't remember but I know it took a minute to get it working prop...

Re: COMANCHE FOLLIES

Well I blame you all for this! The flight started out well at a little GA field in Italy (Aviosuperficie Santo Stefano RM04) where I had landed just about a week ago. I had around 30 gallons in the tanks, so had planned a short hop over to Urbe (LIRU) just to the west of Rome to fuel up before head...

Re: COMANCHE FOLLIES

Since this is my first post, hello to everyone! Now a little story to add something, I’ve been enjoying this masterpiece of a airplane mod yesterday by doing some Iceland exploring in rather rough weather, during the trip from west to east coast about 20 minutes after takeoff the whole dashboard st...

Re: COMANCHE FOLLIES

Is your plane by any chances "Auction", Roger? -Esa Hello Esa, I had a few of those low-vis landings too. Always a bit of stress to say the least. Sounds like you had a well thought out plan that got you close enough to the runway. Always remember your 7P's. What are the 7P's you ask... P...

Re: COMANCHE FOLLIES

I had a little bit of excitement this morning shortly followed by getting wet in the sea. We departed Juan G. Gomez Intl (MUVR) in Cuba headed North for The Florida Keys Marathon (KMTH). We were settled into a nice cruise at 7000 on outbound DVOR UVA. Around 35 NM out and doing another scan on instr...

Re: Masters of the Air trained on fsx

I bet the B17 fuselage is from a guy that I used to follow on Facebook, back when I still had an account. It was fascinating to follow him as he would post updates on new (old) trinkets that he would find here or there to add to the project. He always made every attempt to find actual B-17 parts for...
