Re: Aircraft Will Not Load
Thanks for the tips ATB When I left FSX four years ago to go to XPlane the only thing I missed was A2A. I'm glad to be finding my way around P3D and seem to have forgotten a few basics..... *But*, I have an A2A hangar again. I'm very pleased (and not surprised) to see that the forums on here are sti...

Re: Aircraft Will Not Load
Dear Nick
I must be getting too long in the tooth.
I thought and worried about everything - but that, the simple answer.
Now up and running.
Thank you so much and sorry to have wasted so much of your valuable time.
Cheers and Beers

Thanks Alan
I always inhibit my anti virus software before download and install.
As I mentioned, I had no problem with the Bonanza.

Re: Aircraft Will Not Load
Hi Nick Thank you for responding so promptly. I have reinstalled again. Followed everything to the letter. Problem still with me. Yes, the file is in Documents "Prepar3Dv5 Add Ons". Two folders in "A2A". One called L049 along with a Bonanza folder. Both contain 'tools' and pilots...

Re: Aircraft Will Not Load
Additional information.
Uninstalled the Connie again and have now noticed that the Bonanza tachometer engine hours have reset to zero.
Possibly related?

Aircraft Will Not Load
Hi Folks Win 10 P3dv5 Good specs on my machine, 64 bit etc No problem with install (tried twice) deleted extra folders as advised on this forum for clean reinstall. Re: FSX Video
Thanks Roger
I also use FSXLog which clears any problems with the logbook.
I just tried that as an option.

FSX Video
Hello Folks Win 8.1 intel i5 64 bit Operating System, x64-based processor I have rarely used the video option but I did on my last foray into FSX. This was not with an A2A aircraft. On my next start up FSX came up with the 'encountered a problem' box and will not start. I can only assume that it is ...

Re: Aircraft Configurator
Now sorted
I managed to find the folder with the missing files and then simply copied them from my other computer.
Did the trick.
Thank you to Lewis and Mallcott for your help and input.
Oh yes, silly me Mallcott, it is Acceleration.
Cheers and Beers

Re: Aircraft Configurator
No luck Lewis
Even stranger is that I cannot uninstall from the control panel/programs and features.
It tells me that it may already be uninstalled.
I can only remove it from the list but the files are all still in the FSX folders seemingly intact

Hello Folks Tricky one New computer, win10 - FSX - i7 (is that enough info?) All A2A installed perfectly except that the Cherokee has no aircraft configurator. Brand new install after downloading from my vendor of the time. I am told that the install was successful but the aircraft config is not wit...

Re: Cannot read gauges, etc
Hi Luke I have been running FSX on laptops for seven years and never had any problem with running the program and many add on's fairly close to the limits. I don't fly online but poodle about in my own virtual world. The caveat is of course that the specs of the laptop need to be fairly good. My fir...

Re: Unable to load more than one Cherokee
Chuckle I did exactly the same on my shiny new computer. My first thought was 'oh no, I'm sick of windows 10 already'. Just by luck I spotted the 'show all' check box before I started digging holes for myself.... There are so many setting up things that need doing with FSX and it's been a long time ...
