Re: Next Plane For 2020
I'm just hoping we get back to the days when A2A release two planes each year. Given that it appears that we'll only get MSFS aircraft now, it would be great if these two releases consisted of one plane from the FSX/P3D catalogue and one new one. Such a strategy would see many smiling faces here. I'...

Re: A2A Comanche, reduce passenger weight
Just to close this, I tested the mod last night and all went well. I now have a 35 pound Beagle, which is about right for them.

Michael

Re: Piper J3 MS 2020
Out of interest original classic style or some fancy pants version? Original classic! 65 HP, steam gauges, no flaps. Basically the same Cub that you did for FSX, paddles, Heidi and everything. ;) +1. I like the original Cub, without the fancy stuff. It teaches you basic airmanship and proper stick ...

Re: A2A Comanche, reduce passenger weight
I'd like to do the same thing, for the same dog, but when I followed these directions and did a search for "this._lWeight.dec(100, dec);" Win10 said no items match your search. I imagine this line of code would be in one of the payload javascript files so I tried opening one but was unabl...

Never mind that lightweight stuff. Listen to this.

If not presently in development, then I hope it gets released someday soon.

Re: massive Plug cables
Never had much of an issue with the massive wire plugs and use them in all my A2A GA planes. After start up, lean the engine and keep the revs around 1000rpm. If I do fowl them up, that's my poor airmanship, so I clear them by running up to 2400rpm and leaning slowly until it runs rough, then gradua...

Re: Found it on Facebook - 2 planes
The one thing that bugs me with high wing jobs is that you can't see the sky to left and right, nor can you see the sky in the direction of the turn. We won't mention seeing the sky in the other direction away from the turn as that's common to all. ^^^^^This! I bought the 172 and 182 for P3D, but r...

Re: Landing Technique
Speed control on final is critical. It helps if you've flown the landing pattern properly. Ninety mph as you enter final and about 500 FPM descent rate, flaps stage two. Pitch controls speed and power controls rate of descent. Close to the runway threshold and close to the ground, cut power and keep...

Re: Found it on Facebook - 2 planes
Hi Michael, I don't disagree with your comment at all. Mine was a purely personal comment, and with reference to sim flying only. I believe the C-172 is the most numerous basic trainer and it is almost idiot proof. I did have twenty minutes stick time in one just over a year ago and found it very pl...

Re: Found it on Facebook - 2 planes
I flew the A2A C172 for around 50 or so hours and just wasn't a fan, it was done well but it was boring. When the C182 came out it was a different story, flew the pistons out of it. If I wanted to fly a high wing for sightseeing the C182 was the one I went with, low wing at the time was the Cheroke...

Facetube saw an announcement yesterday of two planes in development. So the Comanche has an heir and a spare.

Re: Found it on Facebook - 2 planes
Hello, not at present, no. When they are ready to be announced they will be. thanks, Lewis Saw that, which is a little strange as I'm not often on Bookface. Excellent news, though I don't imagine they'll be released simultaneously. Not even a small hint?? Even the tinyiest weenyest hint??...
